In accordance with the Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Board (Establishment) Order, 2054, the Board serves as a regulatory body, granting Trans Nepal Freight Services JV the responsibility of operating and managing the terminals, including the dry port, integrated check post, and container freight station.

Executive Director Gajurel, speaking at the event, noted the increasing commercial utilization of Chobhar Dry Port in the 20 months since its inception. He anticipates that privatizing the port's operation and management will enhance efficiency, leading to increased government revenue.
